ye zindagi bhi kitni ajeeb hoti hai... abhi kal ki apni blog post me humne world music ke ek badshah ko alwida kaha aur aaj indian music industry ke ek aur badshash ko shraddhanjali dene ja rahe hain, fark sirf itna hai kal ki shraddhanjali kisi ki rukhsat par thi aur aaj ki shraddhanjali kisi ki birth anniversary celebrate karne ke liye...
R. D. Burman jinhen hum pyar se Pancham da kehte hain, 1939 me, aaj hi ke din Calcutta me janme the. Unhen Pancham naam isliye diya gaya tha kyunki bachpan me jab bhi wo rote the to wo sargam ke pancham sur "Pa" ki tarah lagta tha :-)... unhone apna pehla gana 9 saal ki chhoti si umr me compose kara tha "Aye meri topi palat ke aa" jise unke sangeetkaar pita Shri S.D. Burman ji ne film "Funtoosh" me use kara tha... Yaad hai wo gana "Sar jo tera chakraaye ya dil dooba jaaye aaja pyare paas humare kahe ghabraaye, kahe ghabraaye"... is gaane pe "champi, tel malish" karte hue Jhony Walker to aapko zaroor yaad honge par kya aapko pata hai is gane ki tune bhi pancham da ne as a child artist compose kari thi jo ek baar phir S.D. Burman ji ne film "Pyaasa" ke liye use kari, aur wo kafi pasand bhi kari gayi...
Yaad hai film "Solwa Saal" ka gana "Hai apna dil to aawara na jane kispe aayega"... is song me jo bahot hi badhiya sa mouth organ ka piece bajaya gaya hai kya aapko pata hai wo bhi Pancham da ne hi bajaya tha....
Pancham da ne 1961 me film "Chhote Nawab" ke saath apna sangeetmay safar shuru kara jo 1994 me film "1942: A Love Story" ke saath khatm hua ... is dauraan unhone na jaane kitni hi filmon me kitne hi behtareen ek se badhkar ek songs diye jo aaj tak har kisi ke dil-o-dimag par chhaye hue hain. Aandhi, Kinara, Yaadon ki Barat, Sholey, Hum Kisi Se Kam Nahin, Ijaazat, Masoom, Namak Halal, Parichay, Shaan, Satte Pe Satta, Sagar... the list is endless!!!
Apne is filmi safar me unhone bahot se logon ke saath kaam kara par chand logon ke saath unka association kuchh aisa tha jaise mano wo ek dusre ke saath kaam karne ke liye hi bane hon...
Gulzar un chand logon me se ek hain... Pancham da ke kuchh kareebi doston me se ek ...
Pancham da ke chale jaane ke baad unhen yaad karte hue Gulzar Sa'ab ne yun to bahot kuchh kaha hai par unki ek nazm hai jo humen bahot pasand hai wo aaj aap sab ke saath share karna chahungi... ummeed hai pasand aayegi...
याद है बारिशों का दिन पंचम
जब पहाड़ी के नीचे वादी में,
धुन्ध से झाँक कर निकलती हुई,
रेल की पटरियाँ गुज़रती थीं !
धुन्ध में ऐसे लग रहे थे हम,
जैसे दो पौधे पास बैठे हों।
हम बहुत देर तक वहाँ बैठे,
उस मुसाफ़िर का ज़िक्र करते रहे,
जिसको आना था पिछली शब, लेकिन
उसकी आमद का वक़्त टलता रहा !
देर तक पटरियों पे बैठे हुए
ट्रेन का इन्तज़ार करते रहे।
ट्रेन आयी, न उसका वक़्त हुआ,
और तुम यूँ ही दो क़दम चल कर,
धुन्ध पर पाँव रख के चल भी दिये
मैं अकेला हूँ धुन्ध में पंचम!!
